Chata Biosystems, LLC (“Chata”), provides you with this Privacy Policy (this “Policy”) to inform you of the collection and use policies and practices that apply to information collected on Chata’s website at (the “Site”). If you do not accept this Policy or you do not meet or comply with these provisions, you may not use the Site.




1.  Information Submitted by You

For browsing certain portions of the Site, Chata does not require your personal information.  To order products and set up an account, you must provide certain personal information via online forms.  The information that you provide may include your name, email address, phone number, credit/debit card number, card security code, expiration date, and other details. You represent that you have permission to enter all information submitted by you. By entering your information, you also opt to receive product-related information from Chata or its affiliates (including Boval Company, LP), such as future informational communications to your account and email address. Depending on your requests for services from Chata, additional information may also be collected.  It is at your discretion and determination whether to provide personal information to Chata. Upon request, Chata will provide you a copy or description of any personal information Chata holds about you within a reasonable time. Upon request, Chata will correct or delete personal information submitted by you. 


2.  Automatic Gathering of Non-personal Information

Chata may collect certain information from you automatically when you visit the Site, which may include the name of the domain and host from which you access the Internet; the Internet protocol (IP) address of your computer; the type of browser and software operating system you use; the date and time you access the Site; and the Internet address of the website from which you linked to the Site. 


3.  Cookies

The Site also uses “cookies.”  Cookies are small pieces of information that the Site places on your computer's hard drive.  Most web browsers automatically accept cookies, but if you prefer, you can edit your web browser settings to block them in the future.


4.  Removing Your Information

Upon request, Chata will correct or delete personal information submitted by you. Chata will remove your personal information within a reasonable time, provided that Chata may retain information about you in Chata’s non-public databases for a reasonable period of time to support Chata’s business requirements.  There may be circumstances where Chata is legally required to retain your personal information Chata collects about you. After your request, Chata has no obligation to retain your information, and may delete any or all of your account information without liability.


B.        Use of the Information


1.  Your Personal Information

Chata may use the information Chata collects from you for the following purposes: (1) to provide you services and products ordered via the Site; (2) to provide you with targeted offers and advertising related to the Site; (3) to contact you with information and promotional materials from Chata; (4) to address problems with and improve the Site.


Chata may share your information with its current and future affiliates (including Boval Company, LP), agents, subsidiaries, and service providers, but only for the purposes stated above. For example, Chata uses a payment service provider to gather and process the personal information and payment information you provide when you order products. The payment service provider may use your personal information and payment information to charge your account, and for no other purpose. Also, Chata will share your email address with Chata’s email service provider. Except as set forth in this Policy, Chata will not provide your personal information to third parties without your consent.


2.  Aggregation of Data

Chata may disclose aggregated data and statistics in order to describe the Site to prospective partners, acquirers, service providers, and other third parties, and for other lawful purposes. Chata may disclose aggregated, non-personal, information to third parties in databases, reports, summaries, compendiums, charts, analyses, or other works that may be created by Chata, its affiliates, or its licensees, but only after aggregating and anonymizing the information so as to remove data that may identify particular persons.


3.  Periodic Contacts

Chata may occasionally use your name and email address to send you notifications regarding new products and services that Chata or its affiliates think you may find valuable. 4.  Other Lawful Permitted Uses of Your Information

Chata may disclose part or all of your personal information when Chata believes, in good faith, that the law requires or compels such disclosure, or when Chata has a reason to believe that disclosure is necessary to protect Chata’s rights or property, the rights of another, or to prevent harm.  Further, Chata may disclose personal information provided by you as part of any merger, sale, or other acquisition of some or all of Chata’s organization or its assets.


5.  Your Choices

Chata does not require you to provide personal information in order to visit the Site.  However, if you choose not to provide personal information, your ability to use all of the Site’s services will be limited and you may not receive the information that you request.  By choosing to provide personal information, you agree to the terms of this Policy. Please be aware that, even after your request for a change to your information is processed, Chata may, for a time, retain uncorrected, residual information about you in backup or archival copies of Chata’s database.



The Site is not designated nor intended to collect personal information from children under the age of 13.  In addition, Chata does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13.  If you are younger than age 18, you may use the Site only with the permission and involvement of your parent(s) or guardian.



When you click on links on the Site that take you to third-party websites, you will be subject to the third parties’ privacy policies. Chata cannot and does not accept responsibility for the contents or actions of any third-party websites. Chata encourages you to read the posted privacy statement of every site you visit, whether you are linking from the Site or browsing on your own.



Chata reserves the right to modify or amend this Policy at any time by posting the revised privacy policy on the Site.
